In-Person Monthly Workshops

Our team provides hands-on OB-GYN ultrasound workshops in Monterey, California, and Asheville, North Carolina. These training sessions are combined with online video-recorded lectures, case study review, and video scanning demonstrations. This allows the student to arrive prepared with core knowledge of anatomy, image orientation, pathology, scanning protocol, and more. The hands-on scanning sessions focus on scanning technique and image interpretation. We scan live patients in all stages of pregnancy. This includes transvaginal scanning in the first pregnancy, nongravid and IUD patients.

On-Site Group Training

We also travel on-site to hospitals, universities, and rural clinics to provide custom hands-on ultrasound training. We deliver a comprehensive training solution to departments interested in equipping practitioners with the skills to perform safe, effective ultrasound exams. This includes didactic curriculum, hands-on instruction, ultrasound case review and clinical verification.

The instructor was extremely knowledgeable, patient and offers so many different tricks to use to feel comfortable while scanning. This course was very helpful. The best part of the course was the small instructor/student ratio and hands on time we each had to see patients at various stages of their pregnancy. Both the on-line portion and the hands-on were effective ways to help me master knowledge and skills.
