Training Overview

The Sonosession Team will visit your facility to provide a comprehensive, customized ultrasound training experience. We specialize in training medical professionals to perform Ob-Gyn ultrasound exams. Our team has decades of experience teaching physicians, nurse-midwives, advanced practice providers, sonographers, and other medical practitioners to perform ultrasound exams.

Allowing our educators to come to you for hands-on ultrasound training provides a variety of benefits. The most obvious benefit is the cost savings of having a single person travel to a group rather than sending an entire team out of town for a training session. Another benefit is that we teach practitioners on their own equipment, which increases confidence in using the machine and performing the exam. We offer a cohesive scanning protocol that provides consistency throughout the practice. This includes scanning, billing, and reporting.

Sonosession combines online lecture and video content with live hands-on scanning sessions to provide a comprehensive learning experience. The online lecture, hands-on scanning videos, and case study review are provided immediately upon purchase. This allows for maximum hands-on scanning experience during the live sessions. Each participant will receive access to our LMS, including online videos and lectures, for 1 year, providing ongoing support as they incorporate ultrasound into their scope of practice. Students will receive AMA PRA Category 1 credits for these courses.
