Hands-on Workshop + Ultrasound in the Third Trimester Online Course
This introductory course was developed for the perinatal nurse or practitioner who desires to add the limited third trimester and the biophysical profile to their scope of service. The course begins with fundamentals, including ultrasound principles, knobology, artifacts, terminology, and image orientation. You will receive a full review of presentation, viability, fetal growth, placenta, cervix, and the biophysical profile. Finally, the scan lab focuses on the scanning technique.
Our monthly workshops are structured for first- and third-trimester scanning. You are welcome to join one of those. However, we are happy to arrange a custom course for you and your colleagues at one of our training centers or at your own location. We will schedule live third-trimester patients for you to scan and ensure that you are comfortable performing the exams on your own when you leave.

This course consists of 6 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. You will also receive a Certificate of Completion for the live workshop.
Step 1: Select your Hands-On Workshop Location
You can come to one of our beautiful locations or we can come to you. The online course material is included when you enroll.
Step 2: Clinical Verification
If you choose to bring a group to one of our facilities or have us come to you, we can provide Clinical Verification for your team. This is included in the training.
Step 3: Put it Into Practice
As you begin to complete cases, we suggest keeping a record of them and conducting an internal review with colleagues. This is a great way to track progress and ensure accurate interpretation and diagnosis. You can also reach out to us. We are available to guide you on your journey.
