Heidi Fitwater BS, RDMS

Heidi graduated from California State University, Fresno with a Bachelor of Science degree in physiology and anatomy. She completed her ultrasound training through Foothill College and has over 10 years as a registered sonographer in general and OB/GYN imaging in the hospital and clinic settings. She has served as clinical instructor for Foothill College sonography students and is currently scanning at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula. She has certification in the CLEAR program and nuchal translucency ultrasound. Heidi is passionate about working with and educating students and healthcare professionals because she understands how challenging ultrasound is to learn. She is eager to share her expertise, patience, encouragement and critique to advance scanning fundamentals, knowledge and confidence. Her hobbies include doing crossfit, horseback riding, and spending time with her husband and two young children.
