Katie is an experienced maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) sonographer with over eight years of expertise in advanced obstetric and fetal ultrasound imaging. She currently works at Loma Linda University Medical Center’s MFM division, where she plays a pivotal role in patient care and clinical education. Katie began her journey in medical imaging at Mt. San Jacinto College’s Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program, later earning her Bachelor of Science in DMS from Oregon Tech. She holds multiple certifications, including RDMS in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Fetal Echocardiography, as well as CLEAR, NT, and NB credentials. Beyond her clinical expertise, Katie is deeply passionate about education and mentorship. She has extensive experience training ultrasound students, medical students, residents, and new employees at Loma Linda University Medical Center, ensuring the next generation of sonographers and physicians develop strong technical and diagnostic skills. With a commitment to excellence in maternal-fetal imaging and education, Katie continues to advance the field through her knowledge, leadership, and dedication to patient care. She is also a proud member of the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS) and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM).
