Mae Wilson BS, RDMS, RDCS
Instructor
Mae Wilson is an experienced perinatal sonographer with a passion for women's health, a demonstrated history of leadership, and a commitment to exceptional patient care. ARDMS registered in OB/GYN, fetal echocardiography, and abdominal ultrasound. After receiving her Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from the Rochester Institute of Technology where she was the President of the Ultrasound Student Association, she went on to work at the only Maternal Fetal Medicine office in Maine. She then went on to work per diem at an IVF office to learn more about fertility ultrasound, and later transitioned to a routine OB/GYN office, where she also learned how to perform breast ultrasounds. Throughout her ultrasound career, she has focused on ultrasound education and teaching others about this incredibly useful diagnostic tool. She works closely with students at the Maine College of Health Professions, helping students learn hands-on how to scan. She also taught an ultrasound review course for students at the college in their final semester of ultrasound school. Mae’s enthusiasm for the field and women’s health is infectious, and she takes every opportunity to continue learning and growing as a sonographer. Her goal is to make women’s health ultrasound more accessible for all healthcare providers and to continue sharing her knowledge with the community.
